On June 10, 2002, sky watchers
along the western coast of
Mexico were treated to an
annular solar eclipse, but
Southern Californians saw the
sun only partially eclipsed.
Thirty-eight images were blended
to show the eclipse track over
the 150-foot solar tower at the Mt.
Wilson Observatory in the
San Gabriel Mountains near Pasadena. |
