― STARRY NIGHT ―

SEVEN SISTERS
STR-03-003

Known commonly as the “Seven Sisters”, the Pleiades is a star cluster that shimmers magnificently on winter evenings, and at dawn on late summer mornings.  This cluster, at a distance of more than 400 light years, is believed to be a relatively young stellar grouping—perhaps only about 50 million years old.  In other words, the dinosaurs would never have witnessed such a scene.
