On this frigid March night in 2003, an auroral arc streamed out of the northwestern sky over the airstrip at Alaska's Chena Hot Springs, as several children look on in amazement. The Pleiades star cluster shines brightly on the upper left.  Back in September I posted an image from March 2011 which I shot from the top of the surrounding mountains.
