On January 4, 1992, Southern California experienced two dusks, as nature provided a spectacular annular (ring) eclipse of the setting sun.  The San Diego and northern Baja coastlines were the only places on land where sky watchers could view this rare sunset annular eclipse.  This photo was shot only moments before the onset of annularity.
