As dawn advances across America's Desert Southwest, the nearly full moon sets over Font's Point and the Borrego Badlands in Southern California's Anza-Borrego Desert, creating for the camera and eye a scene of other worldly proportions.  Within only moments of this cool, tranquil scene, the sun rose and its heat began searing the landscape once again.
